Paper Issues and Some Odd Girl have a hop happening.
For an added bonus, you can link up any project with clouds, planes, birds, stars, rainbows…RAINBOWS! I used clouds!
You don’t have to use a SOG stamp and since I just colored and chalked clouds in with Saturated Canary’s Muriel.
I am trying to rebuild my stash of cards to send to my soldiers. As soon as i make them it seems like I send them out. That was my weekend. HappySunday, my friends!
Send a Smile 4 Kids’ new challenge is Anything Goes
I used Some Odd Girl’s digi image Alice Mae.
Colored her up using Copic Markers:
Dress: BG45, 49
I used paper from My Mind’s Eye and the ribbon is a small roll from Recollections. The tag sentiment reads: Happy Thoughts.
I thought that I had already posted for this challenge but apparently my mind is going wonky. I have been in a little creative card making slump lately. I am convinced it is this darn snowy winter weather! More snow is headed our way! Great! (*sarcasm*)
One last thought: My 9 year wrestled this weekend for a state title. He fell short but not because of a lack of trying. He is and always will be my champion!
Happy Saturday, my friends!
Tiddly Inks Challenge #106 is Anything But a Card.
I made a gift box using Gossmere.
I colored her up with Copic markers and added a few gold Stickles to her crown. The gems and flower embellishment is from Recollections.
I filled this goodie container with Mini Cow Tails and Boyer’s Marshmallow Cups. Yummy! This sweet treat is going to the Guidance Counselor at my school.
Sunday! Sketch! Challenge #164...
I used Tiddly Inks Cookie Bugg.
I colored Cookie Bugg up using my Copic markers. The paper is from My Mind’s Eye and the sentiment is from a clear stamp. I for one truly believe that everything is better when shared with a friend! Maybe not my chocolate chip cookies. But everything else!
I added a few little heart gems.
In other news, my little Georgie wrestled his heart out this weekend to earn a spot at States! STATES! I am so proud of my fifty pounder! Wrestling is such a brutal sport! I can barely watch as he competes. But he loves it. And so I must grin and bare it! It sure is hard on this Mama’s heart!
Have a great Sunday, my friends!
Sassy Cheryl’s new challenge #157 is green, white, and orange.
This is my card:
I believe this image is Charlie’s Funky Dance. But I can’t find it on the site to link it up.
I colored this image using Copic markers and used a sentiment from a Hero Arts clear stamp.
I corner punched the two corners and added a few green gem stones. Very St. Patrick’s looking. This is usually the weekend I go away to Seven Springs each year. But this year, I decided not to go. I am kind of bummed thinking about the festive time I am missing out on. It is snowing here and I’m still lounging in my pajamas. So, I guess that works, too!
Happy St. Patrick’s, my friends!
Operation Write Home’s Mid-Week Throwdown is a color challenge. The colors are blue and green.
Here is my take:
I used this sweet image from Time for Tea Designs. This is the website: http://www.etsy.com/shop/TimeForTeaDesigns
This digi image is Easter Chick.
The paper is from K&Company. And the clear stamp sentiment is from Hero Arts. I added some hemp rope.
I know. It is a mid-week Throwdown posted a day late. But I guess it’s better late than never.
Have a good one, my friends!
Simply Challenged Challenges current theme is “FRAMES”. Any kind of frame, looks like a frame, an actual frame.. all up to you use a SBS image and join in for some fun.
I colored up Beauty Spa Rio digi.
Here is my framed entry card:
I kept it kind if simple because I am thinking about using it as a birthday card for a college friend. Not quite sure yet.
It is snowing here tonight. I am hoping that we do not get any delays. We have state testing going on and that has really pooped me out! I am off to take a nice long hot hot shower and wrap myself in my fluffy bath robe and call it a night!
Happy Wednesday, my friends!
