You Say It’s Your Birthday?!

I love birthdays! As my youngest son says, “I heart birthdays!” I love everything about them! Cakes, presents, cake, bows, cake, candles, singing, cake! Did I mention how much I love birthday cake! I am the birthday (cake)queen! At my work place, if it’s your birthday, I buy you a cake! And if it’s a month when nobody has a birthday, I buy a cake anyways! Ha! I do. I don’t bake them. Nope, not so much! I am no Betty Crocker that’s for sure, but I can buy a great bday cake like no one can!
Sassy Cheryl’s, one of my favorite sites, challenge this week is #150–You Say It’s Your BIRTHDAY! I share my birthday with my most favorite person in the world….my identical twin! Of course, she’s my favorite! She’s me. I’m her! What’s not to like about me…? (he-he!) And, no I have never resented the fact that I have to share my birthday with her. (FYI…my birthday is also shared with a famous GroundHog on Feb 2nd…please send cake!)
For this challenge, I couldn’t decide which image to color up. I love them all. I went with…..Let’s Party.

I colored the image using my Copic markers.

I maybe shouldn’t have colored her pink and green. I think she looks like a watermelon. I used the Cuttlebug to emboss the white background and the paper is from DCWV Celebration Stack. You can’t tell by the picture but I put a dab of Ranger silver Stickles on the pom-pom of her birthday hat. I fussy cut her out and popped her up. For some reason the glitter paper kept pulling away from the embossed cardstock.

Oh, and it’s 5 degrees here in Pennsylvania! So, we are on another 2 hour delay for school tomorrow! Which means I can stay up a little later than usual. So, I colored up Cowboy Sally! Don’tcha just lover her?!? I can’t get enough of her!
